I have a 2008xb lightning scg. and it has the yellow spring shock in the back. I was thinking I wanted to get that extra inch back. Can anyone tell me which shock i need to get for the front and rear to make it like the stock S version is what im thinking. And also i was looking at the 2009s and i like how they are all black. Can anyone give me the color code for that black on the subframe and the front forks. are the factory ones painted or powter coated. thanks for the info. |

Any of the blue spring shocks would work for the back. For the front to get it back to stock S you will need to swap triple trees and fork tubes. I am sure it's just the upper tree that needs to be changed. If you post something in the wanted section you might find someone who is willing to do an even swap. |

The SCG uses skinnier forks than 2005+ standard height XBs, so you would need to use different trees in order to safely swap them. |

Only the Lower tree needs to be swapped..the top tree is 54mm on both 41mm and 43mm slider forks. |
