My left fork started weeping fluid last week. Dang. Did some research and located a thin plastic tool called SEALMATE at the local cycle shop. Found instructions on YTube on how to use it. Wow. Took about 2 minutes to clean/clear and reseat the fork seal. Works like new again. Total cost $5. I went down and got 2 more SEALMATE tools, one bench spare and one for the underseat tool kit.

I've used camera film on my dirt bikes before....it sorta worked....this plastic widget works a ton better. Check it out.

How did this work out on a Buell fork? Mine started weeping a little as well (3-4 drops/day). I tried the Seal Mate last week and it seemed like it worked although I have doubts that I used it 100% correct since the tip was a little bent when I pulled it back out. It does seem to be weeping less now (~1-2 drops/day) but it did not stop. I'm going to try again tonight but just wondering if people had luck with this on on our fork seals and if there is an extra recommendation for usage that I missed? Also, how much fluid can come out before this is a concern? Should I already be worried going on a week+ with a few drops/day? Thanks
