Hi guys, I am just recieving my XB9R from shipping, I had a friend remove the oil prior to shipping, and was wondering how much oil will be necessary for a fill up. I dont have my owners manual, and cant remember if my friend shipped it with the bike. So any help will do.... I do have my previous suspension settings though : )

Thanks Frankie

Not this time 420...

It should be 2.5qts minus the amount that was left in the filter (should be about 8 ounces?). My recommendation is to remove the filter, replace it. Pour four ounces into the filter before you put it on (remember to put some oil on the filter o-ring). Pour the rest of 2.5qts in. You should have 1/2 of a quart left.

For the primary - Level the bike, drain the oil. Replace with just under one quart of 75-90W gear oil. If you shine a flashlight in there with the bike level it should come up to where it just about fills the teeth on the BOTTOM of the clutch basket. The teeth will be about 1/8-3/16" in the oil. It should be real close to a quart.
