Yes that is the correct bracket for a V&H. If it is too low the question is was there a bracket that that was bolted to or did it go to the engine case? |

You have to remove the factory hanger and install the V&H one in its place - don't bolt the new hanger to the old one (it is possible). Reuse the rubber washers if they're still in good shape. |
