Can't say - but I'd go to their website and send an email requesting a service appointment. list all the details and make sure you save a copy in your "sent" folder. you might try calling customer service and leaving a voicemail too. there are probably other ways to document the issue occurred while still under warranty - thats just my 2 cents |

I reported the problem to Ocean County Harley. The history is the bike has always had an asthmatic starting sound. Stutters to start, just delays turning over. In late July the bike died while just having the fuel light come on. Not knowing about the fuel pump problems I had it towed home. Then had it towed to Harley. I checked the fuse and it looked OK. They replaced the fouled spark plugs and put new fuse in and I rode it home. It continued to sound harsh at start up. Rode 100 miles Friday. Every start up it sounded like it would not start and then eventually would. Saturday no start. Checked the charge on the battery. Fine. Replaced fuel pump fuse. Flip the switch and it sounds like a squeaky door opening and doesn't sound good. Harley took my info. They told me to call tomorrow and he said they should not have a problem with the warranty date since it is an on going problem. |

OC Harley is picking up my bike today. We shall see what happens. It's funny, when I had my bullet proof City-x I always had Uly envy. My best friend has a 2006 Uly and I always thought that the Uly is the bike I should have bought. I hate having these issues. The bike just never felt right from the start 2 years ago to the day. Hard to diagnose so I put up with it. I hope they fix it so that I can feel confident in taking long distance trips. |

Just called OC harley. They said they ordered me a new fuel pump. They will let me know when the bike is up and running. Just thought I would update. |

Um I know what you mean. Took me a year to figure my 06 bike was not quite right. Long story, and part of it was because I did not know the bike but it turned out to be the grounding issue on the rear sub frame for me. A cost nothing 15 min fix and the bike was like another machine. I had no problems at all after that. HD warranty issues for me were - 06 bike rear bearings and a belt. 2010 bike front bearings and a bad O2 sensor. Both from good dealers which is what you need. No matter what people say these bikes WILL run right and very well. It should idle well enough, pick up quick on the throttle and have no flat spots at all. If you have any of these then there is something wrong. Oh and a blown pump fuse is a problem and they should sort that one out. |

Finally picked the bike up. Replaced the fuel pump. Still stutters and coughs at start up. We shall see. |
