$899 + $35 for shipping.

Yeah, it's loud, but it really does sound _that_ mean & nasty at full tilt.

Really.

Plus it seems to be officially classified as Buell porn now. Just imagine taking even more of those trophies home.

It could happen...

Now I suspect the near-stealth features of plastic bodywork (we have one of those radar "your speed is" signs near my house and it never "sees" me until I'm about six feet away),

I've noticed this too. I'd be interested in finding out the actual radar cross section of the 1125R from the front vs several other bikes.

Anyone have this sort of stuff just "laying around" their garage? : D

Blast, 1125R, 1125CR, Uly, all seem to be equally ignored by radar signs. My radar detector picks it up so I know its trying, but the sign seems more likely to pick up the car behind me.

One of the main things stopping me from swapping out my exhaust is just how well the stock piece fills out the bottom of the bike. Most of the aftermarket stuff doesn't seem to look that great, RT-4 being one of the exceptions.

I was thinking of just getting the Keda MT-1, but I can hardly find any clips of the sound.

Hm...

Jamie on Mythbusters has an 1125R. I suppose I could suggest, "Motorcycles are harder to pick up with a radar gun than cars" and have him try.

They've done radar gun myths before...

I'm on the same boat. I like the Drummer but the front end of the exhaust just disappears and it doesn't look good like that.

At this point I'm just thinking of getting the Buell lower fairing and keeping the OEM exhaust. The OEM exhaust is loud enough anyways. Where I live, moto-cops are running around with LIDAR (Laser). So, being stealthy has lots of value!
