Kimberlie: go to the top left of this page and click on the "Bad Weather Bikers' BBS" link. when the page loads, click on the "Tale Section" link. at the bottom of the Tale Section page click on the "Start New Thread" link. presto! name the new thread, something like "Cody Wood Racing", create and edit the first post, post it, and away you go. i'm here at the computer all day today working, so ask any questions you may have and i'll be here to answer. starting Cody's new thread will be easy, and i can bet that he'll be stoked when he sees he has his own thread on BADWEB. also, when you get his thread started i'll get a new quilt thread going on the QB, with your post from above copied, and with the pix of the quilt that have been posted. Dropped in to see the good folks at destination Tigard yesterday. Coming all the way from Oz I was a little disapointed at the amount of Buell stuff in the store. But that was balanced more than adequately by the kind service of Lucy and Andy. You guys don't know just how lucky you are with great service like these people have. Thanx to all at Destination for the miles of smiles and service. MadGaz ps; anyone know where i can get a bar snake? its the thingy that inserts into the handlebars to reduce vibration. edited by madgaz on June 30, 2004 |

from Blake on 6/5: Here's an idea... If Steve will agree to provide monthly reports including photos and interviews of Cody and family in a "Tale Section" topic of his choosing and for as long as Cody is racing motorcycles, we'd be glad to support the quilt campaign. And we'll be sending a few stickers Cody's way for prominent display on his racing machine. Win-win? Deal? |

Kim, Just read the post in the tale section and you did a really good job. You are the MOM of the year in my book! I would like to add to it but we got the word at 4:30 that we are free to go on our camping trip. We have been busy packing. We will think of something while we are gone to post on the tale section. The company and union are still in negotiations. They hope to have something to vote on next Tues, the picketing will start then if there is no settlement. Keep your fingers crossed! Everyone have a happy 4th of July and be safe! Thanks to all that are supporting Cody! I just mignt have to get a few more tickets before they are gone! Loni

Hello all. Been very busy still around here. Trying to get things back on track after the wedding and mexico. So I have almost got it, so back to some posting and riding. OH but wait, since I last posted, the clutch is back to hosed again. I have no idea what is going on with it. Now the shifter lever goes down, but doesn't return to the default position. It just stays down.. had to work it to get the bike home from Washington the other night. (I went up to pre-ride the splash route)on the way back lever went down and didn't recover? is there a return spring some place for the shifter lever? I don't remember seeing anything like that when I had the clutch out to replace it and the basket. Roc, I will get that tool back to you in a day or so, if you are going to be around. Looks like I might need to use it again? what do you think about my clutch issue? I bought a pocket bike, couldn't resist. I also bought one for my 4 year old, gonna start him young. |

S1H- Congratulations on being wed! There are 2 little expansion type coil springs in there and one has probably come off. I don’t think you would have had to mess with it in changing the clutch, which is probably why you don’t remember it. No worry on the tool. If you take it apart again I could take a look at it. Do you have a service manual?
