I want to know how they are getting 92 RWHP out of the 9SX. Why couldn't I use the new Race ECM in my '03. New Heads? Thunderstorm heads? Can I upgrade to 92 RWHP? I like go fast goodies. I want more power. Why can't they just make it easy on us. And oh yeah DaveS, I want some frame pucks and a few other things. You'll be hearing from me. hehe. Rich |

It does not say 92RWHP. It says 92HP. Which most manufacturers measure at the crank. With drivelin loss it drops it down to like 84-86RWHP iirc. edit:I may very well be wrong...it seems the '05 9R and 9SX get a different race ECM...P#82007-05Y instead of P#32814-02Y4 as listed for the rest of the 9's... edited by wyckedflesh on July 16, 2004 |

Thanks Wycked, in all of my aggravation, I went back and read it again after my post. I apologize for my lapse into idiocy. Rich |

Yeah, that's what I was noticing, too. I understand drivetrain loss principles, but didn't understand the need for a different ECM. I am just curious of the difference. Rich |

Your guess is as good as mine. New cam profile? BTW, I searched the KV and can't find anything about cams for the XB's. I could swear that I read someone was making them. Andrews? Someone? Rich |
