Fair warning. The service manual calls for 40 to 45 ft-lbs torque on the rear wheel axle pinch bolt. Don't go over 40 ft-lbs. I had my Craftsmen Torque wrench set at 45 and I know that it would of stripped the female aluminum threads had I kept trying to go to 45 ft-lbs. Reset to 40 and it clicked so good enough and it was the lower value anyways. I think 45 ft-lbs is way too much. Heck, the sprocket pulley screws only need 35 to 37 ft-lbs and the rotor screw only need 25 to 27. |

I keep everything on the lower end, and just loc-tite it all. The Uly shakes everything loose... including the TPS! |
