I have just crossed over the 4000 mile mark and the check engine light just came on. Any clues on what could be the cause? |

Key off, kill switch in the on position. Hold both mode and toggle buttons on the display, turn the key on. Use the toggle button to cycle through whatever codes there are. Write them down, post here. |

Nothing. Comm error just means there was a loss of communication between the cluster and ECM. If this happened once, don't worry about it, but if its a reoccurring issue you will want to look further into it, it will probably be a loose connection. |

Ok thanks. I started checking everything as a result and found I was low on oil. It probably wont come on for that though. |
