For those of you who have done the XB front swap... where did you find your brackets to mount the headlight? They need to be 49-50mm. I've looked all over ebay and I cant seem to find them, unless I'm searching for the wrong name... (edit... I have found some... but they are all for old cafe bikes and only go up to 35mm...) I'm really just starting to consider welding up my own as much of a pain as that will be... https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/304050_10100598644343782_5115131_59129367_481515635_n.jpg (Message edited by foximus on September 22, 2011) |

I say make them yourself! Make some kind of copy on cardboard from the original ones ,put some length to and make them from thin aluminum sheet metal or make something like this , http://www.cjaccessories.co.uk/product.php?product id=17417&cat=253&page=1 Also some hose clamps are useful http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SV650-HEADLIGHT-BRACKETS -GSXR-50mm-FORKS-/150455482631 |

I was going to ask which way you installed the front end since I see you are using the tuber triples. |

sigh... I finally got my bike together and running... I think I crunched my Pressure plate... even with the spring plate removed and the extra disks added in, I'm still slipping anywhere above 2k rpm. LoL. Sigh. |
