What is the best way to disable the headlight for a track day on this scoot?Could I just pull the fuse or the wires inside the dimmer switch?Seems like I read that the bike won't run if you pull the fuse.Thanks. |

If you pull the fuse, the bike will not start, there is a safety. Just take off the flyscreen and disconnect the headlamp harness. |

+1 to Froggy you have to take the mirrors off anyhow and the faring removal is only another two screws. The are two plugs under there. I put tape on mine to make it easy to identify the headlight wiring the second time. enjoy your day! |

Thanks fellers! This is my fist track day on this bike and I am super excited.Just met a guy while ago that raced there today and he gave me a few tips about the track.I still have some preperation to do but I am hoping to get to go riding one more time tomorrow before Peggy becomes street unlegal. Now if I can just live through testing pipe at work next week I will be good to go |

Same for the tail light, just pull the bulb out. Blinkers are easy to remove, as are the mirrors. |
