I'm pretty new to this, but i have a 2001 buell blast that i bought from a friend. And it seems that a bolt has broke off part of the head? Yikes! That's more than a broken bolt, the head appears to be damaged as well. Really damaged.. The bolt hole in the head is broken, the bolt is bent upward causing the rocker box cover to leak. Hate to tell you but the head needs to come off and either be repaired or replaced. A new head is about $300 or so, not sure how much to repair. You may want to ping Pammy at Cycle Rama ( a sponsor here on BWB). Her shop has repaired these in the past. Not a good idea to ride this while it's broken, you will cause further damage. Plus it looks like you are loosing a lot of oil. Brad |

I'll second that, you need a new head. It appears that the bolt boss has sheared from the head. I few more pics with the tank off would be helpful, but it looks like it was crashed, hard. |
