Starts great, idles great, but under power, feels like the motor wants to do the Watusi - buzzing my mirrors and everything. If I pull in the clutch, the shaking goes away. If I accelerate to above 3K, it smooths out. Just put new plugs, air filter, fork seals, front tire, oil & filter in preparation for a 1500 mi trip, and now have only 2 days to get this one at least troubleshot. I've just dropped the engine to replace the plugs (done it before) but could I have done something wrong in the process this time?? The engine started running a bit rough before the new plugs, so I suspected them 1st... Thoughts?? Note: Front isolator doesn't look quite right to me - looks a bit 'tired' and after a short rough ride the engine drops down to rest on the bolt's flange, which I don't think it used to do! Could this be the whole problem?? (hope so!) Thanks for any clues! (Message edited by UlyBoy on August 16, 2011) |

I've gotten some response on other sites saying the front isolator is a good one to replace, given the info. I just hope my dealer has the part! Wish me luck! |

Would you like me to shoot and post a picture of my Uly front isolator? Or are you just going to replace it anyway? |

Well, it WAS the isolator! Thanks for the help, all! |
