Has anyone had any success with fuel tank sealer made by Caswell Plating on tuber tanks?
The 2 part epoxy has worked great for me on several steel and fiberglass tanks I have done in my shop. My tuber tank is in dire need of sealing. What have you guys found out?

I don't. But other than stripping and re-painting, I know of no other option. Let us know if you give it a try.

I just talked with the tech assistance at caswell plating and they said that it is fine to use their Phenolic resin epoxy to seal plastic fuel tanks. I asked specifically about Buell tanks and they said OK.Inside Prep is important scratching the inside with drywall screws and then rinsing with acetone to remove old traces of gas.I might use it on my S3,s repaint this winter.

Drywall screws - and remember, the use of any other metal construction fastener in this application could result in serious injury or death. Just kidding LOL - had to reference a Buell tech manual! : - )

Sounds cool - please be sure to update us. My re-painted S1W tank has bubbly decals, so it may already be on borrowed time....
