looks awesome Ed! I got my Race plastics now, so I will be at September's track day. Maybe I too will get mine down... (doubt it, since I will be a bit skiddish still from my wreck.) Syonyk, the GF bringin the blast? or is she on the XB yet? |

OK, I'm 99% sure I'm off Friday, so I'm looking at the scenic routes. Who's going up which way and when?? Are we interested in grouping up or are some of you going to do a solo ride up? |

I'm heading up 14, and taking the high road to taos, then over the Brazos, Chama, then Pagosa Springs. I'll eat Breakfast at home, and have Lunch with Jody in Pagosa Springs... I'm planning on rolling by 8AM. |

Yes, I'm sure you can bunk at my place. You can arrive anytime after 5pm or so. I'm having a BBQ that day for some people from work, so bring your appetite. |

Agfish, she should be on the XB this weekend. I'll see if I can get enough work done in the next 2 days to be able to leave early Fri... today was a "fly back & hit the desk hard" day until Southwest decided that, really, 5 hours delay was quite sane on a flight... so I'm chilling in Seattle for most of the day. *sigh* |

That's the back. The front has the "NOT DEAD YET" logo on it, similar to last year. |

Orange shirts? REALLY? Is this the kinder gentler feel good kind of rally? Nice looking patch, that's going to look good on my jacket. So, does everyone have a room or a room mate now? |

Jim, yes, I'll have the shirts at the rally. Bart, I try to make the color different each year. So far, we've had black, green, tan, and blue. I didn't want to get white because it just gets dirty too easy. And I like them to be bright and bold. And having an orange shirt with black lettering with an upside-down HD logo on it is pretty funny... to me. |

CJ, I didn't see the upside down logo??? I try not to stand out when I ride, me and flourescent colors don't get along too well. Jody, just making sure everyone is good to go. |

CJ, Orange is good... maybe next year you can put the bar/shield in a circle with a slash through it By next year most of the standard warranties on the 2010 Buells will be done... I'm already seeing signs of HD not caring. |

Bartimus, if people can see your tshirt while you're riding, you're doing gear wrong... I've got a room lined up for the two of us. What's the word on the ride up Friday morning? We're up for riding up with a group, or running ourselves - either way is fine. I wouldn't mind heading up with a group, if anyone's up for two more bikes. My gf is on the XB9, so keeping speed up while heading uphill won't be an issue like it was with the Blast. Definitely excited for the weekend! Definitely not running terribly hard on most of 550, though... those cliffs are insane. |

CJ, I'll pass on the shirt. I wouldn't want to start wearing my gear "right" after all these years. |

Bart, do you even have gear? You said your sunglass tan line was from not wearing a helmet. I got a new helmet yesterday. Im kinda excited to break it in this weekend! |

Yeah, meet at the McDonalds in Bernalillo at 0900. Ed, Adam, Doug and I will all be there. There's talk of stopping for breakfast in Santa Fe, which is fine with me. We have all day to get there so I'm not going to be going crazy. I thought we could grab lunch in Chama or Pagosa depending on time/mood/availability. I pinged Nick to see if he also wanted to join us but no reply yet. Bart said he's going up 14 at 0800, so if you want to bug out earlier, you may be able to join up with him. I think you live on that side of town, too, so it might be convenient. We're just going to use the interstate to get to Santa Fe, not too exciting. After Espanola, it gets nice. If anyone needs my cell number, it's five oh five, four five zero, two seven zero zero. You can text me or call me. |

Oh yea, I have gear. I only wear it when I'm around Buell riders though. 45 years, and over a million miles on two wheels, I think i can make up my own damn mind what I want to wear, and when to wear it. Russ, I'm taking the "scenic" route, Haven't done any "organizing" though. leaving around 8AM since it's a bit longer. heading up 14, then the high road, then the brazos, and Chama. I probably won't stop much. Lunch with Jody in Pagosa Springs. |
