Court I would appreciate some help.I spoke with a guy his name Cornell has a buell web site,he said you would have the factory info on my bike? I have an early RS1200 The vin is 1B9RS1G5L2133016 this is a totally original bike orig tyres paint wheels seat etc never restored. Can you tell me what yr it was built how many that yr? Would appreciate the help. Mark |

Hey Court, I told Mark that you had the build sheets of the early days. He mentioned an oddity about the turn signals. I told him that Yamaha parts were used at that time but he seems to have a different make. And it appears factory. Any ideas? Take care, Cornel |

I think the ability to get build sheets from the old BMC is severely limited at this time. Many reasons for this but getting Erik Buell Racing up and running is consuming everyone. Show a picture of the turnsignals. The only ones I ever bought were Yamaha ones but that is not to say that some owner didn't ask us to install something different. |

Send me the info and a couple pics. I can likely get the stuff but it may take me a bit of time. I'm swamped now and it'll take a while to dig it out. Any pics and background of the bike might be helpful (as in the case where I've dug it out for someone in the past) I know Cornell. Who is Colin? |
