Different kind of thread about oil, here. I'd like to know what your owners manuel says is the correct capacity. I'd like to know this for the '08 and '10, models. Thanks |

I know you asked for a 08 or 10, but the manual for my 09 says 2.4 Qts w.o. filter and 2.7 Qts w. filter. If I put in 2.7 Qts on an oil change with filter it doesnt even register on the dipstick. |

Which is why I'm asking. I own an '09. I want to know what they're calling for, according to the manuel, for an '08 and '10. I'm working on a theory. (Message edited by jelomadnes on July 17, 2011) |

The 10 models have an increased oil capacity - I assume due to the oil sight glass needing a bit extra. 2010 - 3.2 litres of oil with filter change 2008 - 2.6 litres of oil with filter change It will be a little less if you are not changing the filter. |

1 US quart = 0.946352946 liters Got this from a bing.com search. Therefore, the 2008 requires 2.84 liters of oil with filter change. And the 2010 requires 3.12 liters. |
