So I changed my engine and primary oil today. It was the second time I changed the engine and first for the primary. The first time I did the oil, I used Mobil 1 20W-50 Full Synthetic. This time, I was talked into using the Lucas Oil 20W-50 Full Synthetic Motorcycle oil and put this in both holes. However, after reading this, http://www.amsoil.com/lit/g2156.pdf, I'm seriously questioning my decision. I guess what I'm wondering is: will switching oils AGAIN be a problem so long as I stick with full synthetic AND is it possible that, since Amsoil ran the test, they would put themselves at the top of the list. I have always heard good things from them. Should have went that direction in the first place. Also, does anyone think I should maybe do the oil change in both a little early to get the "better" oil in sooner? I'm really not as new to this as I sound. Just horribly indecisive. Thanks everyone. |

Just ride it and don't worry about it. No big deal switching oils, just drain and fill. They are all good oils and will do the job. |
