Well I had a good offer on my 1125 but my friends talked me out of selling it. I put on my LEDs and fender eliminator and I have completely fallen back in love all over again. Next maybe new seat?? The main point is lately my buddies have been going to the drag strip and they feel my 1125 is a beast and would take all competitors. I'm quite nervous. Thoughts??? |

No, probably wouldnt take all competitors. With some bikes having more power and longer wheelbases its at a slight disadvantage. But who cares? Its so much fun to race, so go to the strip and have a great time! |

Yeah not going to take all competitors. You'll do some awesome freakin wheelies tho! |

Thoughts? Go have fun. I ran my Triumph Sprint ST at the dragstrip, had a great time. Didn't set the world on fire, but I was nice and consistent and had a lot of fun |

I took mine to a local strip once, it was a great time. I was able to run in the Harley/Buell class, if your drag strip has similar class you'll do fine. These bikes aren't the greatest for drag racing though with the short wheel base. For my first time on the strip my best was 10.3 at 124mph. I beat the guy in practice who won the Harley shoot out, unfortunately I decided to do the time trails instead which was a big mistake. Anyways have fun be safe. |

they feel my 1125 is a beast and would take all competitors. I'm quite nervous. Thoughts??? "The 1125 is a beast." True. "It will take all competitors." False. They're quick - a skilled, light rider can get them into the high 9s stock at sea level. However, skilled is a big deal - they're wheelie-prone... "I'm quite nervous." Screw that! Go, ride, have fun. If you win, awesome. If you don't win, awesome. It's a great time regardless of how you do. Don't go in expecting to dominate. You're not going to beat out worked drag bikes (long swingarms, air shifters, riders with hundreds of runs). Just go and have fun. |
