Al, what is that reflection in the mirror? It looks like another bike.

HA!! I wondered if anyone would notice that.
When I took that picture for the online catalog, I saw the other bike in the reflection and then adjusted the handlebars until it was centered, and then played with photopaint to bring it "forward in the mix", if you will.

That is the shop S1, the cover bike for one of the Battle2wins and the one that shows up in the top row of the American Sport Bike home page. It's for sale, actually, since it is a bit redundant with my own S1W. It's got a whopping 3K on the dial and $25K invested (titanium and carbon everything, pretty much everything hit except for engine internals), it'll sell for $9500 if I can get it, otherwise I'll just sit on it a while. I'd hate to part the thing out to get the money out of it, it's too nice a bike for that.

Al

Stainless,
I like it a lot, the line of sight is actually very good, no obstructions. I'm very used to glancing down and back (to check my blind spot), then sweep back across the mirror as I look forward again. It feels natural and almost effortless to me.

I also like way, not having anything in front of me, it makes everything feel more open.

After adding the 3rd Eye's to my Lightning I can no longer see any part of the bike while looking straight ahead.
It totally feels like flying!

I have a 03R and ended up purchasing the 04 mirrors, for about $40. They function much better than the shorter 03 mirrors moving your head around just to look for cops behind.

Just picked up some mirrors at the local bike store. Made by Blackburn. They are plastic, but at $18, I got a couple extra. Said to the kid behind the counter there for a motorcycle and he said " couple of my buddies with Buells are using them" Strange! Kick part is if you got a 12 like me the Blackburn logo on the back of the mirror is the SAME color gold as rims and Buell stickers! On the throttle side had to file a little on the pivot of the mirror so it wouldn't rub against the hand grip.
