hello!

after read that exciting thread about CR to R conversion(sry, forgot the id of the gentleman), Im now preparing to install a upper fairing on my CR.

I like the firebolt look, but the bracket is hard to find.

my question is:

will a firebolt race fairing fit the 1125 bracket? and with the clubman bar or the high bar?

has anyone tried this combi? : )

I did a lot research on that on badweb...didnt really find an answer

thx

Another solution for the 1125 bracket and the high bar. The ESCALATION faring fit with the 1125 bracket.

For the bar:

The 1125 and Firebolt spider brackets have different mounting locations for the fairing. I've seen an 1125R nose on a Firebolt with custom bracket extensions, but I haven't seen the other way around. I'm not sure if the bracket is deeper on the 1125R to accommodate the larger nose, but it's worth trying. If it works, your gauge cluster mounting will look cleaner.

You can get them cheaper brand new at a Buell dealer.

I have, it's not pretty. I'm going to dig up the pic because I don't know where it is, but the bottom line is a Firebolt fairing WILL fit on an 1125R bracket, but it looks like a heaping pile of poo.

The bottom mounting points are wider, so the fairing looks bloated. Also, the entire thing will be tipped back compared to it's orientation on an XBR bracket.

thanks!

I can imagine that a 1125r fairing on firebolt will not be pretty.

it seems the firebolt bracket is larger than 1125's

for me, 1125 upper is really large and long...

Looks like an 1125 with a Firebolt race fairing. Found these in the pics section. Looks good to me.
