I have wished for one to come out for a long time because I think it would look perfect on my bike. only thing is I have noticed that the translucents are more brittle than the solid colors so it would probably brake after taking it off to many times. |

Nobody makes a translucent seat cowl unfortunately. Most aftermarket manufacturers use either GRP (glassfibre) or carbon fibre as their materials of choise (of which there are plenty to choose from for Buell XBS fitment), but nobody has the facility to make the translucent plastics in the small batches required for Buell sales. |

i was reading somewhere that they were making them by taking a negative foam mold off a aftermarket one and to have .250" acrylic sheet vacuum formed over the foam mold. |
