that's definitely it. Some heavy welds, and i'd say a bit too loud... not sure if they modified since it's much louder than the vid you posted. thanks! | ||

Looks like a slip-on that was meant for another bike & labotomized at the local car muffler shop to fit. | ||

yea look at the crappy crush bends in the Y pipe... that is a home project gone bad.... I bet it is loud as hell though.. | ||

Looks like they had some parts lying around. Only the "y" is polished. It doesn't look finished. | ||

yeah i was going to call my friend at the dealership and pass on the info (what it is). They had no idea so figured i'd listen and take a pic or two. I hope they will fix the weep, but ya never know... looks way worse than my RevB leak i had them fix. It sounds like hell IMO - too loud. Looking online i think the HR1 for buell is a bit longer - so you guys are probably right about it being a Frankenstein muffler from another bike. I didn't look close enough to see if the "gate" or whatever was open or closed on it. I'll look again when i get my rear tire mounted and try to take another pic or two. gotta love badweb! | ||
