Some of you might remember a few of my threads from last year. I bought a CR in August and about a week after taking it home, it started having issues with fuel delivery. Long story short, it's been in to the dealer for the same issue several times and the root cause hasn't been determined. This last time I was able to make it 4 miles before it died on me. At any rate, Harley has offered to buy the CR back from me and I will be accepting the offer. I'm sad to see the CR go as I really love everything about it, except for the reliability of the one I had. I wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the help they've provided me with various little issues or questions I had along the way. The Buell community is really second to none as far as I'm concerned! Safe riding, Buellers! - Jose B |

Sad! Did they give you enough for a new 1190RS? Bummer to hear it but totally understandable. Any Buells local to you for sale or what are you getting next? |

I'm sorry to hear that, I'm sure its something stupid and easy to fix too, just the dealer is incompetent or not willing to invest any time in it. Good luck to you in the future for whatever else you get! |

Could an 1125 be set up to fuel via carbs? That worked for Ducati for years and HD XR 750s ran carbs with good results. |

was it in 3rd gear? The only time iv had "fuel issues" is when i accidentially overfilled it |

Thanks for the well wishes guys! I wish they gave me enough to cover an 1190RS! LOL. The servicing dealers actually spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out, they have been very helpful though all of this. Who know, may just be a sneaky gremlin... For now I'm looking at either a new Monster 796 or a Street Triple R, then in a few years, possibly an XB12 SCG, but nothing is certain yet. |

my clutch gave up the ghost at 6k... at service now for a 7-10 days. Otherwise - knock on wood it's been great! Best of luck with the Monster or Triple (i'd go Triple). GL! |

A 2012 Aprilia Tuono, the CR would probably be just a distant memory. Congrats on squaring things away with Harley Davidson, best of luck on finding your new bike! |

JoseB There is no logic involved sometimes we invest with out hearts other times our minds. I did both when I bought my Buells. The S1 was a labor magnet. All indicators suggest the CR will be better. In reading your post, the problem I see is your loyalty to a dealer that couldn't do the job. A dealer strikes out with two tries not 'several times'. Best of luck with your next purchase and dealership. |
