a freind of mine has a set of s.e. adjustable pushrods for a 86-90 sportster unused-still with packageing.why wont they fit 91-2002 engines?either the tappet ends are the wrong size-shape or they are too long is my guess.he nolonger wants them & will give them to me,can they be altered to fit?if not i have been eyeing up a set of jims titainium pushrods-anyone know how much these cost? |

Steve : Four speed engines , share few parts with five speed engines , the pushrods are shorter on 86-90 engines. |
