Stebel Nautilus air horn. Tough to place (they're big)....but DAMN, they get the cager's attention! I have one on my Ulysses, and it makes ME jump. For a tuber...find a car whose horn you like the sound of. Most mount and connect (electrically) the same as the OEM Buell horns, and they look about the same too. |

+1000 on the stebil air horn 139 decibels is awesome. I have 3 of them one on each bike and i wouldn't have a bike without one. They are big but they can be taken apart into 2 pieces and you just need to route some tubing from the compressor to the the horns. I am gearing up to install one on my ninja ZX10R also. I installed one on my brothers suzuki samuri and am toying with the idea of setting 2 of them up on my truck. (Message edited by preybird1 on June 10, 2011) |

I found that the Blast! horn is much more effective than the stock tuber horn. |

I mounted my Stebil up near the stock location for the coil. Just made a simple bracket. It is mostly hidden by the tank. |

ya know? Im sitting here thinking ? Ive been riding street for the past 35 years. I dont think I have ever needed a horn, ever? Oh, I have plenty of close calls with car and truck drivers. I usually spend the very short amount of time I have evading them with ,either the throttle or the brake. I dont even think about the horn button. I think horns are for car/truck drivers that have air bags and insurance that will pay for all the dents and maybe a cash settlement when they fake a neck injury to get some time off from work. |
