blast dies when you turn the bars left or right. any ideas ? it was laid down prior to this problem. it's my neighbors bike and he's new to these . any suggestions greatly appreciated. |

Check your front ground - it could be something else but eliminate the obvious. Sounds like a busted wire though. EZ |

Ricksbuell, You may want to check the BAS (Bank Angle Sensor) if the bike was dropped. It's under the seat located just behind the battery "box". |

True, but if the BAS killed the ignition it wont start again until the key is turned off and back on. Otherwise you'll get nothing. So BAS problem is unlikely unless its just a bizarre coincidence that it dies when the handlebars are turned. Check the wiring. Start by by wiggling and gently pulling wires on the front of the bike. |

Thanks to all who replied- You do have to turn key off and back on to get it to start. I'll go through all you recommended monday after work. Thanks again and I'll post what I find . Rick |

Finally got it fixed. It was a combination of a bad wire in the harness from being tie wrapped to tightly and the plug on the kill switch. Thanks for all the help guys. |
