Has anybody put the Erik Buell Racing decals on their 1125? I would like to but I'm not sure which ones would be better, the small or the large. If anybody has done this which ones did you use and where did you place them ? I assume it was on the pods. thanks. (Message edited by billp on May 06, 2011) | ||

i put the lettering from the small one on the front fairing, just above the pods. there is a little flat, vertical lip where they fit nicely, like they 'fit' there. i still don't know where to put the smaller pegasus's i was thinking of putting the large white one on the inside/backside of the windscreen ... | ||

I placed my stickers (small white) on the frame towards the rear of the bike. I thought they wouldn't stick because of the rough paint, but so far, no problems. | ||

I bought the large pair but if I put the Pegasus where I wanted on the pod the writing got into the black trim.So I cut off the writing and put it on the right side of the fender vertically.I have a K&N sticker on the other side. | ||

I put them on the airbox since the previous owner repainted it without the original "Buell" | ||

Do the large pair come in a Right and Left? I put the small pair with the lettering on the side fairings on the flattish area above the pod bulge. | ||

That was my presumption, that it was two of the same. So I bought the smaller ones. | ||

I put the Racing Decal Set on the airbox after peeling off the original BUELL decals. I then removed the 1125R decals and replaced them with just the text "Erik Buell Racing" from another racing decal set on the tail sections and the RHS of the front of the fairing above the lights.. | ||
