Hey, first time post, long time stalker!!LOL I've had no luck finding stock rear tire, bought a rear Diablo Rosso Corsa. I just replaced front with stock Corsa III two weeks ago, been riding the 08' pretty hard now need to replace it. Any problem mixin' these two tires? On a side note, I just put a Barker on my 08' R, it runs so freakin' good I gotta get one for my 09 CR (it may be the reason I've been riding the 08 hard! LOL sounds sweet!) Sorry if this subjects been previously covered. |

No problems at all. I rode 1-2K with miss matched front and rear. Rosso Corsa Rear and Corsa III front. I just had the Rosso Corsa front installed and still no difference. |

Maybe it was just road conditions, but I was sliding on my stock Corsa III's way too easily. I have had no problems with my Diablo Rosso Corsa's. I like them. |

I feel no difference in the tires but the Rosso seems to wear better we will see |

Thanks, I've never been disappointed with the III's except the fact of the low mileage. Getting both great performance and decent mileage with the Rosso will be a bonus. |

I have never liked the Corsa III, I tried them on my Firebolt when the Diablo Ts wore out and didn't get on with them, When I bought my 09 1125R new I took the wheels out immediately and had Pirelli Diablo supercorsa SC1/SC2 fitted, they are even quite good at moderate lean angles in wet weather - good luck with your choice, to be honest I am more cocnerned with grip than longevity, here where I live close to North Wales in the UK the roads are mostly twisties anyway (Message edited by Dirty_john on May 06, 2011) |

Rosso Corsa is the replacement tyre of the Corsa 3... ^ what he said. the rosso corsa is a completely different animal of tire, and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. i ran the corsa III's two times, and thought they sucked both times. the rosso corsa's stick MUCH better, last longer, look better and wear more evenly, and handle heat cycling better. for the time being, ill never run another street tire on the street than the rosso corsa |

I had to get a rosso corsa on my back so I can finish wearing out my front tire to switch to a set of pilot powers 2ct. I don't do too aggressive of riding, usually just spirited, and they seem like they go together pretty well. I've got about 2,000 on the back tire now, and 8,300 on the front stock tire. The back looks about half way done in the middle (tons of engine braking) and the front is getting pretty close all around for a new one |

Hi - I rode with one of each (Diablo Rosso front, Corse III rear) for 1 set, no problems. Just got DR's front & rear 2 weeks ago when the last ones wore out. They both work great, but I prefer the DR's as they seem to wear a little better. Based on what a Pirelli rep told me at Willow Springs last fall, I tend to run the psi at 30/32 f/r (even 2 psi less on if < 60 deg). They feel nice and medium-warm when one stops riding, and are very sticky (just look at all the sand/pebbles they pick up if you pull off onto a dirt shoulder). I see that about half of the web retailers now have the new DR 2 tires available...... Looking forward to trying them soon. |
