Sorry as I'm sure his has been answered before, but after a quick search I haven't found a definitive answer. I'm wondering if ECMspy (& cable) will work on my 2009 XT? Thanks |

ECMspy does not but ECMspy Mono does. |

Thanks Froggy ... is that just a seperate software download & any any idea where I get it and for how much? Will the "standard" cable still work OK? |

You can buy it on ECMspy.com, all fuel injected Buells use the same interface cable. Also take a look at TunerPro, it is free and does more than ECMspy, but it is a bit of a pain in the ass in terms of a learning curve. |

I'll check it out ... thanks again. I looked around on the ECMspy website and I believe I understand how to download Mono, but I see no information on what it costs to activate it. Does anyone know? |

FYI, I can datalog using the OLD ECMSpy on my '08 which is running the BUE2D firmware. I can't run diagnostics and updates maps and all that, but it will datalog properly and the dashboard works fine. I'm using a Batts Racing cable... which btw, is just an FTDI chip in a USB plug and a Deutsch connector on the other end. You can build it yourself if you're savvy enough, but it's worth the time and money to just buy it. |
