I am very happy with how it looks. Looks kind of cloudy in this pic but I think the flash makes it look that way. No I did not miss up by the neck, that seems to be another cast portion and I didnt feel like polishing that as well. My plan is to not leave it polished for long but to have it all powdercoated black. I just thought this could be a fun little project. Maybe this is a crime but I just really wanted the blue paint gone. And I like the blue on mine just fine...but something about polished aluminum gets me excited.   Pwillikers Posted on Thursday, April 21, 2011 - 08:34 am:        Truly the best of both worlds, an '08 charging system and a look-alike '09 black (erstwhile blue then aluminum) frame. Please post some pictures taken outside in the sun. Research your powder coat color/texture options. There are a millon.
