Hi Toona,

The philly area can cover a lot of turf. I don't see any listings on Philly's Craigslist for an XT. If the neighbors son emails me here, I might know if it something I can check out.

I spotted a couple Buells over the weekend. On Saturday I saw a Blast on 233 around Michaux s.f. and a black/cherry bomb Firebolt on 30 west of Abbottstown. On Sunday I saw a blue Firebolt on 30 east of 522, I also saw a blue Chevy truck with a Buell sticker on the back window. It was in a small town called Bellwood or something like that. I stopped to ask directions but no one was around. Oh well maybe I'll run into them next time.

Hahaha, I laugh because I was on the XT riding from Lewistown, to Carlisle, to Waynesboro, down I-81 to Maryland, across I-70 to Hagerstown and back to home thru Breezewood. It was a nice 310 mile loop.

I'll be posting a thread for the 2011 Res Ride soon. Gotta confirm the date shortly.. It will be Memorial Day w/e again, as in years past. I need to get with Nittany XT again about the eats afterwards, but I'm thinking of adding a Sunday morning ride to the Flight 93 Memorial site...

Pos90, I may be coming down your way soon to look at a '97 Buell S1....I'll keep you informed as to my progress on adding it to the collection.

I'll be back again for the street rod show the first weekend in June.

I was in my muddy '99 TJ coming back from a day offroad up at Rausch Creek (north of Harrisburg on I-81 in PA) and I spotted a sweet XBR (not sure if 984 or 1203): black/gold with different tail/undertail (two small round tail lamps) riding with another sportbike turning left at a stoplight on Rt-30 in Chambersburg.

Saw a woman on a cool Blast following a HUGE custom trike heading West on Rt. 30 by Battlefield H-D outside of Gettysburg.

Also saw a blue Firebolt with white racing stripes shortly after that, just inside of Gettysburg.

Lots of bikes in Gettysburg today!! Was there a hog ride scheduled?

Yeah, I know, not much help. Cycle Gear just opened a new store in Harrisburg and usually they will mount customer supplied tires for $40 each, $20 if you buy from them, but that's still over an hour away from you. Wouldn't be too bad if you can wait there but they won't generally do it that way either.
This is a long shot, but sometimes the seller will have a list of shops that they can recommend as a courtesy for their customers. Just a thought.

I went over to Ephrata this morning and as I was pulling in there was a 9s leaving and I saw a white and blue firebolt parked there. I didn't see anyone I recognized and there weren't many bikes so I didn't stay long.

I have been changing my own tires. To balance I use "dyna beads". Zirachromic beads you put in that do the balancing as they spin. Been working well for me for over 3 years. No surprises at any speed and I can let go of the bars without having bike "shake it's head"/ wobble. Truck garages use something similar but is a finer ground size. I do NOT race or ride roads like they are race courses!!!

Lansdale Bike night was last Saturday. Two X1's, one Uly, one 1125R, and an XB9Sx were parked in a mix of cruisers and sportbikes. There was a Vincent and a Norton too..pretty awesome bikes. Good food, music and a a LOT of bikes in every shape and form
