I have a 2002 blast and I am having an intermitted starting issue with it. The bike is seeming to have some kind of clutch issue because the bike will start and run perfectly but only if i hold the clutch handle in a certain way or in a certain position. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I don't wanna get stuck having to leave my bike somewhere cause it will not start.. |

It could be the clutch safety switch. To disable this, flip one of the diodes in the fuse box. (I'm not sure which one but there are only two). BEWARE: This will disable the safety switch so you will be able to start your bike when in gear without pulling the clutch in. There are full instructions somewhere in the Thumper section. Good luck!
