Does any one know of a replacement dipstick? I'm and idiot and cross threaded the plastic one, and now have oil weeping from my dipstick. Checked American Sportbike, Erik Buell Racing, and other badweather sponsors with no luck. |

Sounds like another stock one would work better than a billet one. I would hate to strip out the cases. I don't know of any aftermarket dipsticks |

What is the diameter and thread pitch of the OEM piece? |

I'd rather strip a plastic dipstick than the crankcase, which u could do with a billet one |

Thats fine if you would rather have plastic, but I would rather have a metal one. |

You could make one or have a local shop make you one |

I'm not aware of any commercially available metal dipsticks. It would be cool to have one with a built in thermometer like I have on my XB. |

I'd like a dipstick with a float level indicator! |

The guy that made my chin fairing is going to make one. I have no idea price, looks, or any details. He does really good work and will not screw me on price. |
