I have an 08 1125R, and was looking at Erik Buell Racing website. I was wondering what the change is from going from the 08 non-targeted to the 09 targeted injector? |

I asked about this a while back. It apparently improves low end response and idle, slightly, and has no gains at high fuel flows. The person I was emailing said they didn't feel it was worth spending the money to upgrade to them. |

It does make the bike run a little hotter going from an 08 to an 09 injector... |

Don't think I will change them since there's no real gain. I don't really have a problem with the low end, except for at start up from time to time. If that problem does happen, it just kills the engine, then all I have to do is start it back up. Not a problem to me. Thanks for the help. |

With the stock ECM my bike ran like crap after putting in the 09 injectors. I had read that the Erik Buell Racing race ECM was optimized for the targeted injectors. My bike will run fine on either injector with the race ECM. |
