Anyone have experience with Icon helmets? I am think of buying the Burn Baby Burn, nice pinup. I do have a big oddly shaped head so fit would be my concern with noise being a close second. I currently have a KBC Force S and it's a pretty decent helmet, but it's time for a new one/upgrade. Any help you guys can provide would be great. |

I have a icon domain perimeter, Icon halo, crashed in the domain helmet doing 70mph.. landed on my head first then flipped upside down a few times then rolled to a stop.. i then got up and walked away. the helmet had about a 3 inch gash/cut in the back and really took a beating but it saved my skull.. the sizing runs a little big, and at high speed tends to have some of a whistle noise depending on how you hold your head in the wind. But i will get another icon helmet any day! |

Thanks man. Glad to hear you walked away from your crash. I have owned other Icon products and really liked them. I might buy the domain devil dog, it looks like a pretty bad ass helmet. |

just so you guys known icon helmets are only over priced hjc helmets so you don't waste your money. I have both an icon and arai. yes the icon(hjc) is nicer in the winter cause less air comes through the helmet, the bobble head feeling is not worth it, stick with hjc and get it painted by a painter or save your pennies and but an arai, but beware once you go arai you won't go back....to anything |

I have an ICON Variant and a Shoei RF1000. The Icon Variant feels every bit as quality and in some cases better than the Shoei. The padding is actually better and it almost feels lighter. They have come a long way in their helmets since their first gen. |

this thread has helped me in giving some important information for helmets. recently i made some purchases to upgrade my Motorcycle Parts and gear as well like i bought Scorpion Helmets and Motorcycle Boots for my racing event. In future I would definitely try out the Icon variant! thanks to all for sharing |
