Author Message   Flo239 Posted on Sunday, March 20, 2011 - 11:18 pm:        My blast starts up and rides fine for a bit. I have just changed the oil, oil filter and trans fluid. The bike dies at times. Once when driving to gas station. I rode up n put supreme gas. Them I went to start it and oil light. Came on.. It took me 3 gets then finally she started. Another time I rode for 10 minutes. I pulled up to a stop sign downshifting to 1st and then when to accelerate and bike died and oil light came on. Bike also has a new 100.00 battery. Can it be intake boot, kick stand safety switch? I don't know please help?   Titusand Posted on Sunday, March 20, 2011 - 11:32 pm:        How old is the boot? Has your economy improved slightly lately?   Ezblast Posted on Monday, March 21, 2011 - 02:37 am:        Start here - its a 2001 - kickstand disable - twist wires, flip center diode in fuse box, replace das-boot. If it continues to do that after all that - it could also be ignition but there would be things to check first to verify and/or rule out first, but then start suspecting. EZ
