So my 00' X1 has the stock mirrors on it and from the two times I have ridden the bike, I can't see squat out of these mirrors. No matter how I position them I can't see anything. Any suggestions? |

I have some "universal" bar end mirrors that never quite fit snug enough on the Blast I had, do you know if the bars are the same diameter? I could probably wrap the part of the mirror that goes into the bars with some friction tape to help snug it up. What should I do to cap the spots where the stock mirror goes in? I don't want that to rust. |

+1 on Bar ends. You can buy caps for the original mirror retainers (I am not sure where but I bet American Sport Bike would know) My bar ends work really well. You should have 7/8ths bars, same as the Blast. |

Mine came with the bike. They are "Third Eye" brand mirrors for the 7/8ths bars (standard on X1's, I think). Just google them or look on e-bay. Good luck. |

I just pulled this off e-bay. These look exactly like the one's I have on my X1. http://cgi.ebay.com/THIRD-EYE-BAR-END-MIRROR-NEW-B IKE-AND-MOTORCYCLE-/310299767109?pt=Cycling_Parts_ Accessories&hash=item483f4eb145 |

+ 1 for getting set up through American Sport Bike. They'll have everything you need. SS |

CRG bar end mirrors from American sport bike. Best money spent on safety equipment ever on my former x-1.If my 1125 didn't have intergal signal mirrors i would have already replaced them |

I really liked the Napolean bar end mirrors I had on my S1. They are big, and take getting used to, but you could see a lot with them. I have some CRG knockoffs now, and you just don't have near the field of view with them because of their size, they look good though. |

I don't know what you're all complaining about. I can see my elbows perfectly in my stock mirrors. |

This isn't the best angle to tell, but I'm starting to think that these are not the stock X1 Mirrors. Aren't the stock mirrors round and taller? Do the mirrors off the Blast fit the X1?

BLAST mirrors will retro-fit to the M2 and X1 models ... IMHO they shake too much, making them hard to see with ... On my BLAST, "i" went to bar end mirrors in order to see ... |

Yeah, that was tongue-in-cheek. Forgot to use a smiley The stock mirrors are round. I can't really tell from the picture what you have there. |

the old lollipops were elbow viewers. i don't know when the change occurred, but the newer mirrors give a good view behind the bike. anyone who laneshares will appreciate the bike width vs bar end mirrors. i use them because my garage space is very tight, disallowing bar end mirrors. if you want to spend the additional bucks, aprilia tuono mirrors are a good choice |
