My S2's H-D battery #65991-82B, date-coded March 2004 (!), finally died, most likely because I didn't ride the bike enough. The local H-D dealer wants about $125 plus tax for an identical, OEM one, which is something I'd like, but then again I'm cheap. I went to the local battery place, but they only have one that is slightly smaller in size or one that is too colorful for me. I like black or the transparent white batteries, not orange or yellow. Any suggestions on which one you bought? | ||

Having posted on here a few weeks ago about my long lasting battery it finally gave out last week. I replaced with the HD part - the first lasted almost 15 years so I saw no reason to change. Only trouble is that it costs about $220 over here. If it lasts half as long as the last one I'll be happy! |
