This is the coolest ( and scariest ) thing I've seen in awhile. Can you just imagine yourself at 10,000 feet just screaming along on your way to the East Troy for the 2014 Erik Buell Racing Homecoming event. This is the closest thing, if it actually is safe to fly, to realizing a Jetson's type existence. Who needs roads, just landing pads. I'm looking forward to seeing this guy's actual test flights. Probably will be the 2011 or 12 Darwin Awards recipient. http://www.gizmag.com/hoverbike/18813/ http://www.hover-bike.com/index.html http://www.darwinawards.com/ |

The helmet protects your noggin from the stuff that gets sucked past your head and in to the the rotors. Keeps bird beaks from embedding themselves in your scalp/skull. |

Someone needs to drop Ralph Nader a memo on this thing. |
