Rice, lobster, clams, muscles, and squid. It was the greatest little place. I have to credit Mike Warren for opening my eyes over the years to the possible, but it was some place near Jacksonville, FL, probably a little north of it. We wanted lunch, and found this strip mall, which seemed to contain nothing. I kept looking and found this Portuguese place that looked like it was closed, so I went and banged on the side door and asked them if they were open. The owner came out and said she had forgotten to open up the front door, so she let us in. That dish was billed as Paella for two, and Amanda and I split it. Lunch, including my espresso, was less than $30. |

Gotta hate those crowded Florida beaches.

St.Augustine rocks! My favorite place in all Florida. The old town section, the Mill bar - so cool, then the Tiny Bluegrass bar across the way. the hip coffee shop buried in old town - nice. Museums and history everywhere, just a beautiful little city. EZ |

Hey Ed, hope things are going well with you. How's the family? Yea, it was a surprise to me how nice it was there. |

Well, well, well...It's been so quiet, everyone must be busy. To update everyone, last night was the first night I did not go to the old place before going home to the new residence. The cleaning was done, the keys turned in and the ultilities taken out of my name. Once I get any of the security deposit that may be coming my way back this chapter of my time on earth will officially be closed. Now that House of 1,000 Boxes thing, it's firmly planted in the new residence. Not sure how long it will take to get the new place for multiple, concurrent visitors, but I'll be certain to keep everyone informed. With the weather politely cooperating with me staying at home and managing the 1,000 boxes hopefully it won't be too long... Another chapter opens, 1313 |

Congrats on getting all of your stuff under one roof! Sounds like a lot of unpacking in your future. Keep a few hours free for riding. Soccer season is coming to a close and I'm ready to ride! |

@ 1313. It was cool having someone else pay for my move from MA to NC. They unpacked everything and put it away too. I won't move again until I can also afford to pay for the packing and unpacking service too. Ha! It can take months when left to my wife and I to do it. |

Hmm. I need to pay someone to take all my stuff, load it on the truck, keep it there for a day, and repack it in my house properly. |

I rode the SV to work today for the first time in about two weeks. It doesn't like starting up in cold weather after sitting that long. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I might have to use a fuel stabilizer this season. |

Spike, I've been riding all week. Wonderful. But I finally had to change out the smoke face shield. Found out quickly that this clear shield lets enough UV through to darken my transitions. Don't have to squint as much in the morning. And I don't have to race the sunset home. With a new Rubicon in the garage, my minimum riding temperature has gone up a little. I don't think I'll be riding to work when it is 36 degrees like I did last Winter.

M2nc is in Maryland for an AME Conference this week. They had several "field trips" that they could choose from to visit other manufacturing plants. He chose Harley Davidson in York, PA. He's proudly wearing his Buell shirt today! Wonder if anyone will notice. If he goes missing, we know where to start looking for him - LOL! |

I wouldn't worry... There are a handful of Buell supporters in York. Mike Yasovsky, Twobuells, is a long time York employee and a long time Buell supporter. I sure hope Carlos has a chance to meet Mike, 1313 |

Love the smirk as he wears his Buell shirt into the HD plant. Not as good as 1313's shirt, but more acceptable for a work environment!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We cooked at home with friends and family and then had Puerto Rican Thanksgiving on Saturday. Mom and I did our traditional Black Friday shopping day in Raleigh. Baylee learned how to ride the 50 solo! We have pictures and videos. Carlos will have to upload so you can see our baby go! She's hooked! |

We had a great Thanksgiving... Had a friend from work over for his last US Thanksgiving before he ships to Japan for a 4 year ex pat assignment. Made a fried turkey, which was the first for us and overall turned out ok. Friday morning we shrugged off shopping and headed to Charleston, SC to celebrate Heather;s birthday and had a great time down there. We've both got a few very hectic weeks remaining until Christmas and then a few well deserved days off in PA to spend with family and doing wedding planning- not sure how stress free that is... |
