Author Message   Hop_along Posted on Monday, February 21, 2011 - 09:46 pm:        Well after reading some recent posts regarding first rides of the season, I decided that I would be sure to put on my new rear tire and belt, amongst lots of other winter fiddling, done while we had nice weather and before the next ice storm came by. !She's naked at the front! Sure enough, didn't quite finish 'the other things' but I'm planning on leaving town in 2 days, still need to run the bike, get the oil warm for a change of oil and filter. So what to do? That would be me riding figure 8's around one of my stages at work... where I am a theatre technical director. Boy I'm glad my students are in finals right now and we don't have any shows! And, I'm glad I stayed inside after 1/4" of ice with 5" of snow fell today. Although, even being careful, the new rear tire was still quite slick on the painted stage floor.
