Glad to hear your addition to the family has arrived and is healthy. But the sleep thing.... I wouldn't plan on getting too much for a long while now!!  Unless you have one hell of an understanding wife. But it is all worth it in the end. Good Luck!! | ||

Hey Grape, Things are doing okay..healing slowly. I can walk a little better now. I have an MRI on Tuesday--but won't find out the results 'til the 30th..ARGH!!! hey naughty, I got a question for ya -- did you have any bike experience before you went to the Rider's Edge class? didja know how to drive a stick (car)? there's a person how's expressed a destire to learn to ride in my house . . . .. thanks | ||

No, i did not drive a stick shift car...Dana tried to teach me but I did not do very well around him...but I also knew there was an option called automatic so I had no desire to learn!! But when he showed me this past winter how to start the motorcycle and shift into 1st and take off!! And then in the Spring, Hellion had me out in a parking lot with my bike and showed me some stuff and how to get into 2nd!! I had about 3 miles of experience driving around the neighbor hood LOL Thats my only bike experience before the class The class is wonderful and worth every penny!!!! I rode away from there knowing so much and Hellion , Grape,Yellowblurr will also agree I think!!!!! | ||

Naughty -- thanks for the info . . . . . I'm gonna make at least rudimentary skills with a stick car a hurdle, as the person in question has a tendancy to feel really jazzed about something, and then loose interest quickly . . . . we'll see what happens (I had her out in the 31 Ford last summer, and she did pretty good . . . .we'll start up with those lessons again) I'm thinkin that learning without her old man around, and on someone else's bike, is the way to go . . . . thanks again | ||

That's good thinkin'. Let her tell you when she is ready for your able assistence. And in the mean time you can now begin a new project, a little 500cc CafeBike for her. By the time she's ready the bike should be ready too. On the fender you can add the ambush instructions "From dad to daughter" for any potential suiters to her to read. | ||

Mike, I already told her she could have the 500 Yam (or 580 Rosberg, depending on the % of stock parts needed to be a yamaha) when she could start it . . . .since she can't make the kickstart budge when it's at TDC, I'm safe for awhile ;-} | ||

Wildcat Mountain-Multi BRAG Club event The annual Wildcat Mountain trip to Ontario.... Wisconsin that is, will be help Saturday July 24-Sunday July 25th. Reservations at the Brush Creek Campground have been made. http://www.brushcreekcamping.com We will leave Hal's at 9:00a.m. Saturday morning and ride out to Ontario(Wisconsin that is) and set up camp. From there the best roads in Wisconsin await us. Later will be diner, and then swaping lies around the campfire. This is one of the can't miss trips of the summer. If you have never been to this part of the state of Wisconsin, you owe it to yourself to come enjoy the roads and the scenery. Dana has 6 tickets left for Harbor Fest this weekend anyone want to join us for Saturday night????
