Does anyone have or know where to find the side fairing pieces for a 1990 Buell RS1200 Westwind? I'm restoring one and missing these pieces. I'd even be interested in borrowing one to make a mold from it. thanks |

Which side fairing pieces? The ones that have the knee pads? I'm in need of them as well for one of my projects and would be interested if you locate a stocking source. Other options I'm aware of: http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/buell/RS120019 89-93.htm Option #2: I was going to check with EFB Designs. Supposedly there's support for the RS1200s yet. Last resort: I have some originals that could be templates, but this would need to be researched in detail to ensure (me) a good final product (and return of templates!). |

Send a note to Court. He would know. And Erik does have some stock left as well, but I don't have any idea what parts. |

I'm in possession of: '90 RS number 06. It needs paint to fix the blisters but is all there and presentable. It is an RS in RSS clothes. '92 RS number 076. It's engine is currently undergoing surgery and also needs new paint. I'm also in negotiations for delivery of '91 RSS number 025. It will be restored from its current cafe' configuration and is the one that will need body parts. I also may need medication for this addicting illness. ...Nah!! |
