The quest to find a XBRR style airbox led to me to find what was believed to have been built by Hal's HD. This is their version of ram air. I have an email in to check to see if this was indeed built by them. With that I asked if there were any more available (Bott I was looking out for you as I asked for a few of them).

The XBRR style airbox cover is basically zero loss on an 1125R. Drag racer Mike lost 1HP on the dyno by taking it off on back to back dyno pulls. This is on his drag bike (stock engine) run without a filter, and a modified 1125 base plate to get it sealed up for ram air down the track. We have a few XBRR carbon fiber airbox covers in stock, but can order more if the interest is there. A baseplate to make this a fabrication free process is on the list of drag racing "kits" to complete, but at the moment all hands are on deck working on the RS. Hit me up on sales@ebracing.com for more detail. |

what I noticed is all of those you have to remove the headlights. I have the one from Kosco Harley-Davidson which mounts on the bottom the wind screen. The class I will be racing in will be a street class so I need headlights. |

No headlight removal. Take a look at Mike1125r's setup. He did a fantastic job of grafting an XBRR box to his 1125. Even for those of us not running headlights the inlet for the ducts is still in the center.

Puzzled- thanks so much for the lookout! This horrible winter has thrown a wrench into my racing budget- so I'm just concentrating on chassis setup for the time being. Sending you a pm though. |

I think Pete at GSD, a sponsor here has one of those fibreglass ones kicking around that he probably wants to get rid of... |

^^^ The initial pics are of Petes actual ram air. He isn't willing to part with it, I asked. That is how I ended up at finding the ones I did. |

Yeah I haven't been there in months so your info would be more recent than mine. |

I was there to purchase all of his Flexi-Glass inventory. Last week I phone ordered more of the GSD parts that I sell. They seem to be real busy with the coating end of the business. |
