I am putting new seals in a 1999 s3 and I am looking to find parts break down and torque specs with oil levels thanks Mike |

look in the kv I did A replace seals and new fluids a few years back its fairly detailed and is on the showa front end. fill level is about 3 1/2" from the top legs fully compressed ( springs out I think ) I am not close to my fsm, so I am not totaly sure on this. |

Are they not WP on an S3? If so, the free S1 manual that floats around the internet should give you the info you need (oil levels may be different though but the parts breakdown should be the same). Try here - http://www.ukbeg.com/downloads/files/manual/bu2b.p df |

If you forks are not leaking when you decide to change the fork oil do this !!! Drain each fork into a measuring cup which will indicate how much oil to put back in !!! |

I don't know if they all did, but my '99 S3 fork tubes have dipsticks! The book says type "E" fork oil, 15.4 oz each. |
