Great to open my most recent issue to find not one, but two big articles keeping the dream alive! XB12 tribute project bike and the latest on Erik Buell Racing's efforts in racing and future street bike production. If I only had a few million $$ to send Erik's way... |

and if only Buell got this kinda press coverage to begin with maybe they'd still be around? |

Anybody interested in giving me a hand by collecting and cataloging these various articles about Erik Buell Racing? I may have a need for them. |

Hi Court, I can look for german articles, if this will help you. There is a brand new article about the race from Pegasus in Oschersleben last October incl. an interview with Erik, who was also there. |

Pascal, that would be wonderful. It appears as if there is significant interest in Germany for the work being done at Erik Buell Racing. If you could collect, scan and send some of the articles to me that would be wonderful. I'd like to be able to catalog them for use as the business model gels. Thanks in advance for any help you can lend. Court |

I'll keep my eye out as well and send you what I can find. I have some of the Superbike races on my DVR. I can send images of the race results shown at the end of the race... especially the good ones. |

I haven't seen this article yet, so the question may already be answered - Has the name of the new bike company been established? I seem to remember the Buell trademark used by EB will run out in another week or so (December 21). EB Racing (?) |

That's a SWEET looking TT . . . . it kind of captures the S1 spirit. I'd be game for one of those. |

Now imagine if you will a parallel universe ... where the dealers embraced Buell and sold the farkels listed. |

Yep, only after H-D killed off Buell would that rag think to run a positive article, let alone a project bike. Maybe they've mended their ways. Hope so. The letter they sent in response to my critique of their articles' heavy disfavorable bias against Buell motorcycles still echoes; "for comparing relative performance among sport bikes, all that matters is displacement." I hadn't read the magazine since. Maybe it's deserving of reconsideration. I hope so. |

I was listening to Motorcyclist Radio with our own Steve Natt this morning, and heard a nice interview with their new editor. It sounds like things have changed. I'd written Motorcyclist off as (a) anti-buell and (b) just tedious to read also... but Steve is doing a good job making the case that it might be time to give them another chance. I know Steves show is just as good now that he has moved over there... |
