Thinking of having my welder extend the stand that I have to pickup the rear of my 00 X1 by the rear foot pegs as apposed to under the swing arm. If he extends it 8 inches it would raise the wheel about 2 inches off the floor. I wonder if the pegs can handle it and if the rear suspension will sag so the tire will contact with the floor?? Ideas or opinions. Thanks |

I made a stand like that a few years ago. It works well. The mounts take the weight just fine. Sure is handy when you need to get the weight off the back end. |
