After knocking off the rubber pad (along with the metal inside) on the shift peg, I had to figure something out till the new part comes in late next week: Well, it certainly doesn't look pretty... Sorry about the poor quality, the camera couldn’t focus in the dark... I used two bolts with locking nuts and a wall-mount coat hook. Drilled two holes in the leftover shift lever and voila'! It doesn't look the best, I could have done a lot better if I had the time and tools, but it will work for now. Sure wish I could weld Al. |

nice chopper project there.next step remove turnsignals, front and rear fenders, and you're stylin. have you considered a hand shifter? |
